Classic controls are always nice to have, as much as I can appreciate motion controls. Also, I second the black Wii case sentiment. Variety = spice of life, etc.
this along with Xenoblade, The Last Story, and Fatal Frame 2 Remake(hopefully 4 as well) will be my most awaited games ony my wii :D
More of a connection to Castlevania than God of War I'd say. I'm really wondering how this game will turn out.

Just because it's an action game with blades as weapons doesn't mean its heavily inspired by GoW. I actually highly doubt the developers were inspired by GoW. It's just an action game with blades. I mean I see the similarities with the description of game play but still. I dont think Castlevania was a GoW wannabe like a lot of people assumed. Anyways, Nintendo has some good stuff lined up this year. I've got HBC on my Wii so if NoE decides to pick some of this stuff up I'm good to go. Suck it losers! =P

The cover looks better than the game. The graphics literally look as good as FFX, a ten year old game.
so now every game that uses whip automatically is "inspired by God of War"? how? God of War itself was a knockoff of japanese action beat-em up that was released very early on ps2 - granted God of War got bigger budget, was published by Sony(so got fuckload of hype), but still GoW was carbon copy of that game in terms of gameplay and mechanics.
not to mention that Pandora's Tower is an action rpg that from first reports plays more like traditional Castlevania games or Metroid with a nice Monster Hunter twist in it.

God of War was inspired by Lament of Innocence, IMO, but GOW is the biggest 3D action whip genre of all time, so you know what he meant.

More Wii games the US isn't going to get, or at least that's how it seems. If this along with Xenoblade and The Last Story don't make it here then my Wii will be very unloved this year.
I don't think it's that Nintendo of Japan doesn't want to share. I think it's that Nintendo of Anywhere That's NOT Japan is just stupid.

I hate to burst your bubble, but there's almost no chance Fatal Frame 2 is coming out anywhere but Japan, either. I don't know how willing anyone will be to translate that one, either, because we already got it on two different platforms everywhere else. Lunar Eclipse got translated because it was exclusive to Japan, so that made sense.
