Here's a new trailer for LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4, which consists of the game's opening cinematic. Once again, the gang at Traveler's Tales have done an excellent job of giving the goofy charm gamers have come to associate with the world's favorite building block.
The market for LEGO series games is probably not as saturated as I think it is, but I think I'm pretty much done with playing the more traditional, platforming, hat-wearing series. With four games already in my collection and a general disinterest in Harry Potter, this is going to be a pass for me. That said, the game does look good. It just looks like more of the same.
How about all of you? Is the lure of Hogwarts enough to get you to toss bricks again?

The only Lego game I've played a bit was Lego Star Wars. It's was a bit meh, but I'm likely to check this one out...if only to be able to kill Ron and Hagrid in as many painful and hilarious ways as possible.
Honestly, this is the few games I'm currently anticipating (yes...this and whatever Blizzard does this year.) and I'm certain, that EA will FUCK IT UP WITH STUPID ASS DRM!!!!!!!
I've always had fun with the Lego franchise takes, so I'll probably rent this and blow through it over the course of a week. Hopefully they backed off the open-area feel that the second Lego Indy had.
I honestly want to see how they handle the graveyard scene in 4. Between killing Cedric and then the revival of Voldemort, do they go for laughs? I'm imagining Wormtail pulling his hand out of his socket and dropping it in the caulron, and Voldemort assembling piece by piece right there.

THEY SHOULD HAVE DIED! NOT TONKS!

I agree, Dudley looks too thin in comparison.

It clearly displays Games for Windows, PlayStation 3, Wii, Nintendo DS, PSN and XBLA.
AKA: EVERYTHING
I'm anticipating the epic facepalm.
No problem, you didn't sound like one.
If it's not done exactly the way you described it, I'll be disappointed.
