It's done! The epic Nintendo drama There Will Be Brawl has debuted its final episode over at The Escapist and concluded the ten part series. Usually Hamza would be bringing you this news, but you're getting me instead. Hopefully we can all move past my lack of sharkness. In case you've forgotten Mario has amassed an army, Luigi is after Ganon, Princess Peach is still missing, and Olimar has completely lost it. If you've been keeping up with the story all is revealed in the conclusion.
Well, kind of. After watching all 35 minutes of the final episode I'm still a little unclear on things, but that might be because I hate listening to bad exposition. I do know it looked good and they pulled out plenty of special effects this time around. As for the ending, I suppose it will do. What do you think? Did the series have legs or was it just a cool idea that ran out of steam?
[Thanks, Vokarin]

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Oh how wrong I was. Now I have 8 more episodes to watch :D
just saying
Still kinda sucked.
SHHH!!!
I might just watch the first nine episodes...
I believe the law allows characters to be used in satires such as this, just as Saturday Night Live is able to use copyrighted material. The Zelda fan movie, on the other hand, utilizes the plot and is an interpretation.
I dunno, my expertise is limited to bird law.
I'd like this put onto a DVD .iso so we can show it in non-streaming glory to...whoever! Even if you don't catch all the references, what's pertinent is made clear. Weeelll... except that I don't quite get what went on. I may have to take a while longer to piece things together, especially considering some wording (did Kirby mean he and his protégées were relics? I think so...). Anyway, the tone and style (give or take a nose line and ape eyeball) seem like they could carry this venture to anyone who likes a good dose of gravitas.
Still, I'm kinda sad Wario never got to show off his strength, let alone his nigh-invulerabilities.
bird law, hah, excellent sunny reference...
Now let's talk bird law.
You know I'm not an expert either but that does kinda make sense.
Acting was also kinda rickity.
