Do they realize how much money they will make if they create a game featuring the original Rangers? I would buy Dynasty Warriors: Power Rangers in a heartbeat. None of the stupid spinoffs though.
I also loved the power rangers as a kid, and I was kind of old for them when they first came out (11). Looking back on it, I had a MASSIVE crush on the Green/White Ranger.
I recently saw some toys at Walmart from the original power rangers, and I was wondering why they would have brought those back out 7 years later.
Wow, they really bought back the license from Disney? That must have been either an epic struggle or a complete "go, take it and fail too" sort of thing on Disney's part.
I'm interested in seeing how they're going to make the Rangers a household name again. I mean if Disney couldn't keep it up I'm not sure Saban's going to have an easy time of it.

If it was a reboot of the original series I would be interested but another spin off does not surprise or excite me
Having watched the Japanese version of this series, I'm definitely interested in what direction they'll take this one.

Hopefully they actually make some good shit, as well as have them put on the 360/PS3.

I thought Saban wasn't going to pick up the series again until the angel rangers that come after these guys. Every time the red ranger from the video above speaks is like nails on a chalkboard to me, but i'm still going to watch because Bulk from the mighty morphin' power rangers is going to be on it!
I hope it's a return to the earlier stuff, the last series I could stand was SPD, and that was fairly weak. Needs Megazord and at least one occurrence of Alpha and Zordon. I mean, the Kamen Rider game is decent enough, and Power Rangers has a much stronger source to pull from.

This had me at the "bought back" moment of the article I loved the power rangers when I was a kid, I even went to school in the uniform once for no real reason.
Seeing just a clip of it, it sure does feel like Saban's Power Rangers alright. Disney's take on it always felt off. Not that I'm an avid watcher, but I do feel nostalgic at times, and catch an ep when it's on TV.
The Power Rangers are awful when you take off the nostalgia glasses. What isn't awful was the SNES game, though. That was actually a fairly decent sidescroller. The sequel (for the movie) could use some work, but it did feature some nice co-op.
Ok. since this is being made by Namco Bandai it BETTER be as awesome as Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm!! I mean Power Rangers have tons of more flashy crap then Naruto does so it can be easily done. Come on Shinkenger games!!!
First of all it has to a Mighty Morphin Power Rangers game, i.e the first generation, with the dinosaur zords.

I LOVED Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers when I was younger. It's cool that Bandai got the brand back, but the thing I want most to come out of that deal is for them to finally release the original series on DVD.

There was an awesome Power Rangers game for the SNES. I remember playing it as a kid. It was in a side-scrolling beat 'em up arcade style like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, X-Men, or the Simpsons.
@King Chrono : Yep, I remember that one. You got to morph halfway through the level and it played an awesome MIDI version of the MMPR theme.

Im sad to admit that i watched the original series when i was in 6th grade. They made good gaMEs, though. I bet a Power Rangers MMO would be wicked awesome. ID made my character in DCUO a power ranger type figure.
@Andrew Walters : They didn't ruin Shinkenger. I assure you it's still available, pristine, for you to watch at TV-N, if you'd like. Samurai's existence, whether good or bad, hasn't changed that.
It took all of 45 seconds just to transform? I don't even know what to say about the cheesy-ness that is power rangers.
Holy crap I didn't get to watch the video before. This is awesome, really reminiscent of the good old days. They even added dubs that sound like they're poorly translated! "I will help you hang tight!"
I'm impressed that Power Rangers is still a thing.

I'm not watching this because if how awesome shinkenger was and how comparatively bad this looks but the adaption of go-onger was actually amazing and I would call it alot better for this sites demographic.
