Dammit Jim, Odontoceti know why but I'm curious about your DA 2 review. I love it myself, but still wanna see your thoughts. Curious about Crysis 2 as well, I'm really hoping sp is awesome, mp I could care less about for this one. Busy with CoDBlops and Homefront mp, with a dash of Dead Space 2 also.

I'm actually with Jim on this one. The Crysis 2 demo actually didn't impress me at all. I played it two days before going back to cod4. Speaking of which I need to uninstall that thing lol. SP does look interesting, but I'm not sure its $60 interesting.
SP looks great, multiplayer is really, fun. I don't know why you guys don't like it at all. It's really entertaining.

I'm enjoying DA2. There are certainly things that I miss from DA:O, like the immense customization and the top-down view, but DA2 definitely improves other things, such as the character models and the speed of combat.
Voice acting is excellent, the constant stream of quests keeps me involved and interested, and I like the character-centric story. It's a good game. Now, if they can combine the best of DA:O with DA2, then DA3 should be absolutely awesome.

PEOPLE download the Crysis mp demo again!!! Its been updated and its awesome. (Sorry to the people who already know this and still don't like)

The more I get into DA2, the more I enjoy it. Although I miss a couple things from DAO's combat (friendly fire, tactical camera, being able to switch between two equipment sets on the fly), the combat system is just loads of fun. It makes it hard to complain about the rampant repetition and lack of real role-playing depth when the game is so much fun to play. If you think it's easy, bump it up to Hard. Then tell me how you never have to pause.. and I'll call you a damn liar.
I really hope they take their time with DA3 and add the stuff left on the cutting room floor of DA2: conversational choices that have a real impact, more opportunities for customization and role-playing, more settings and variety in settings, and just more epic moments. Still, if you're a RPG fan, you really shouldn't skip DA2...

is it just me or this time around the suit seems a lot more... boring? Speed is about half as speedy as it used to be, the uberpunches that flew cars away seem gone, the shadows seem tacked onto the textures, a-la bc2... and only certain types of cover look destructible.
goddammit. Every single one of these trailers makes me look at crysis as one more of the pile.
