Full-length animated feature
Sony has just announced that a Ratchet and Clank movie is in production, set for release in 2015. The long-running franchise has always seemed to be a perfect fit for the big screen, but now it's happening out of nowhere.
While the film is being made by Blockade Entertainment and Rainmaker Entertainment, Sony says that Insomniac is also going hands-on to help out, giving guidance on production, screenplay, characters, and animation. T.J. Fixman, the writer behind the games, will also be writing this movie's script.
There's a ton of promise here. We're expecting good things.
