There's a huge update coming to Dawn of War II tomorrow photo

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II's next significant update, dubbed "There is Only War," is being released by Relic tomorrow afternoon.

Most notably, the patch brings new observer and referee options to improve the spectating experience, a metric ton of tweaks and additions to better balance player vs. player modes, eight all-new maps, and lastly, plenty of bug fixes.

This patch was so massive, Relic decided to put out a beta version for public conspumption earlier this month in order to get feedback from the Dawn of War II community. Needless to say, "There is Only War" will change the face of the game and ought to make a lot of people very happy indeed.

You can find the full patch notes right here.

I love dawn of war II one of the greatest games iv played in a long time. But i would like a twist on horde mode plz. Were you can be any race and you have to defend a certain place for as long as you can by any choice enemy with any faction you like. I think it would be fun.

But war never changes!

The patch doesn't look all that big on the balance front, are we actually at 1.42 or whatever, or was that part of the beta so we just jump right up to 1.5 for the actual patch? If that's true, then it looks like they rolled back a lot of the beta changes like Space Marines having heavy armor. (not a bad thing, all that ended up doing was making them more vulnerable somehow)

a beta for an update? Yowza. That's awesome. Maybe I'll take a break and spectate some matches instead.

I predict this title being Steam's sale of the weekend as a result of this patch. If so, I'm buying.
