Remember that Japan is in the middle of trying to increase its birth rate, which has dropped off alarmingly. I've been seeing a lot of pregnancy and birth related media pop up over there recently.
Offhand, this reminds me of Phantasy Star III and...oh what was that one PS1 game. Dragon Valor? I think that's it.

oh holmes I love your posts, and this one made my day. as for the game, it sounds like its relatively decent. I wish games like this were excepted in the west.
It sounds interesting, but I would feel better about if if the girls looked a little older. At least one looks like she's 12-13. I struggle to understand the Japanese's fixation with youthful looks, to the point where women in their late 20's/30's seem regarded as old maids in countless animes.

Oh and very valid points Holmes, though this will probably never make it to the states. I'm sure it could slip under the radar if it were to come to the west, but they probably wouldn't bring it over due to a lack of a potential audience for it. It sounds like a decent enough game from the link though, maybe it just needs a different name.

I think the problem many people have with these kind of games is that the girls on them sometimes looks very young, from 10 to 18. Japan has this fetish for school-girls that is a bit creepy.

This game sounds so freaking interesting that i'm really sad that it's probably not going to come over, the system where you have kids and then they join your party sounds so interesting.

You play as Itsuki, a high school student who, while prone to making cold statements, has a strong sense of justice. On the day of highschool graduation, Itsuki's first cousin and childhood friend Mahiru calls him and tells him that she thinks she's pregnant.
Just then, a gate opens up and leads the two into the world of Granvania. This world is in a dangerous state. In order for Itsuki to return to his world, he must save Granvania, something that can only be done by producing "Hoshi no Ko" (Star Children) with twelve girls
The "star children" aren't made the way you and I would make a baby. Itsuki and one of the twelve heroines pour their spirit into some sort of device, and the baby is born after growing a bit.

I Am Your Father! As for this game, I'm actually surprised that it looks like it might be good. I wasn't expecting much when I first heard about this game, but I will say that the art direction is fantastic, and it isn't loaded with fan-service like I thought it would be. Although this will never be localized, if it ever got a fan-translation I would give it a try.

I think it's an important education for kids today, about the times when a daddy and a mommy and a mommy and a mommy and a mommy and a mommy and a mommy and a mommy and a mommy and a mommy and a mommy and a mommy and a mommy need to have a baby to save the world.
I'm with you on the last one. The only thing with having women glorify men is that it's not realistic. Most women don't glorify men because that's not how their brains are wired. They want to see men in a position of power and glorification doesn't do that.
At the same time, though, not every person is like that. Some women do enjoy ogling men. As such, there definitely needs to be a game not focused on male lust.

The sad thing is, way too much stuff made in Japan these days DOES actually pander to the creepy 30-year-old men who want to sex up minors, with producers and developers actively presenting the image of teenage girls being no more competent as toddlers in the process.
In all fairness, this is probably the least offensive Japanese game about making babies with teenage girls.
It's not that I don't think it's unacceptable, it just seems like a wasted concept. After all, the GTA-series and Red Dead Redemption, as well as Heavy Rain, are more than just shooting people in the face, dragging them along on a rope and volunteering to cut off your fingers or whatever. And I don't feel these Eroge-like games really go enough ways.
I have mixed feelings about this game. It's just pushing it a bit, I guess we just... have to... wait? I like the art, so I guess I'll keep following it.
