Great. My productivity just flew out the window. I had my head down in full work mode, but PopCap killed all motivation by sending word that Bejeweled 3 is now up on Xbox Live Arcade. It's available now for 1,200 Microsoft Points ($15).
Xbox gamers actually get the jump on this crack-like puzzler, as retail copies for PS3, DS and Xbox 360 won't hit shelves until November 15. With Bejeweled 3 you can expect leaderboards for Classic, Lightning, Poker, Butterflies, Ice Storm and Diamond Mine, plus four special gems, five elite badges, and 15 achievements. You can also expect me to disappear.

1200 is such a rip-off. And too common these days.
Besides its bad enough I've locked myself into playing that fairly bad Bejeweled twist-masked-as-a-puzzle-RPG game, Gyromancer. If it wasn't for batman making me take a break from that (I just can't sit there twisting jewels for longer then a few hours -that game gets so boring.) I'd have gems coming out of my ears any way.

Sigh. The PC version of Bejeweled 3 retails in stores for $20 since it launched. Most PopCap games do until they get really old. It's currently $19.99 on Steam.
