Try typing "Theatrythm" ten times in quick succession and see how many times you spell it right. I'm willing to bet not many. Bloody Square Enix and its ludicrous game names.

Anyway, here are some fresh screens for the upcoming 3DS rhythm game, showing off field and battle areas. The game looks incredibly pretty, and with over fifty songs promises, this is shaping up to be a really exciting little game.

It's been ages since I've been truly excited about a Square Enix. Who'd have thought it'd take a 3DS music game to kickstart the love engine? Crazy.

Samus, Link, and others made into Theatrhythm characters

I adore Theatrhythm's doll-like recreations of iconic Final Fantasy characters. So does pixiv artist Mafen if his portfolio is any indication. Check out our gallery below for Samus, Link, Fire Emblem's Lyndis, and The Space A...more

E3: Everyone is saying Theatrhythm wrong

And I mean literally everyone. We had the chance to speak with Theatrhythm producer Ichiro Hazama here at E3, and after our chat about the game (more on that later), I asked if we could all come together to decide how they ga...more

Theatrythm Final Fantasy teaser site brings the music

As sick as I am of Final Fantasy spin-offs, I must confess that Square Enix has got me this time. I love Final Fantasy music, and I love excuses to turn on my 3DS, so a 3DS rhythm game featuring FF music is pretty much perfec...more

Final Fantasy rhythm game, Theatrhythm, coming to 3DS

Japan's Jump magazine has revealed yet another Final Fantasy spin-off in the works, this time one that actually sounds interesting. Theatrhythm has a typically stupid Square Enix name, but it sounds like a cool idea, and it'l...more

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd coming west

We forgot to say something the other day. I hate that we did because I'm such a fan! Sega has confirmed that Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd will be coming to our shores (North America and Europe) later this year, for both ...more

Making multiplayer music in Fantasia: Music Evolved

Harmonix revealed a multiplayer mode for Fantasia: Music Evolved at GDC last week alongside some new songs and levels. I jumped in front of a Kinect sensor to try out the new mode, and it wasn't long before I was flapping my arms to the beat.  Can't you hear that boom, badoom, boom, boom, badoom, boom, bass?    more

Shake it! Persona 4: Dancing All Night coming 2015

Get warmed up and ready to shake that thang as Atlus has confirmed that Vita title Persona 4: Dancing All Night is coming to North America in 2015. I never thought I'd be talking about a Persona rythm-based dance videogame, b...more
