Imma be there. Yay. Wind Waker had some great pieces. Hoping they got some nice orchestral arrangements.
A LOT of the tunes from Ocarina of Time, especially the later ones. Bolero of Fire, Prelude to Light, Song of the Storms, Gerudo Valley... They're all amazing and unforgettable pieces. Songs that after hearing the first 3 notes, you'll instantly remember the entire song. (Kind of like what Link does. XD)
However, my favorite among favorites would probably be the Lost Woods jingle... I mean, come on. It's the Lost Woods. Arguably the most catchy themes in Videogame history. If you don't at least tolerate the jingle, you have no soul.

Next Tuesday for us guys in London. I admit, I was almost in tears when I first saw the video of the E3 performance; Skyward Sword isn't even out yet but the theme to that gets me every time.

To answer your question, my favorite piece of music is the main theme that plays in the overworld of the retro games. It has a way of making feel one super heroic. I'm not a fan of the fact that Nintendo toned it down in later games.

I don't know if I can single out a Zelda song as my favorite, but I'd have to say The Forest Temple theme or Stone Tower Temple. Both of those are fantastic.

Fairy fountain theme is the best song in the universe! If anyone could record this concert that would be awesome, since I doubt this is going to happen in Sydney :(
