I... don't see how an iOS port even begins to work for TWEWY. Maybe if its for iPad, but it doesn't sound practical for iPhone, iTouch or Android phones at all

I didn't finish this game because I didn't have fun playing it. I thought it sucked. Power to those who enjoyed it though.
That is great. I laughed quite hard. Personally, I have a very different opinion. I have tried to start this game multiple times, but I just can't get into this game.
I wish they could release it as an eShop title instead. The game is pretty much impossible to find here, and amazon.co.uk doesn't list Norway as a marketplace country.
I'm too fucking tired to rage. I'd love nothing more than a 3DS sequel, but I guess that was just getting my hopes up.

I see nothing wrong here. I love iOS, and hearing more great games are coming to the platform is more than good news for me! It's really great to see companies like Square and Capcom are treating it as a viable platform these day.

I never got to play the original. Even though I own a iOS device, that isn't the way I wanted to experience it. I use my phone for a lot of shit, gaming not so much. :(
As much as it pains me, I had a pretty good laugh when I saw this article. I'm surprised by the lack of shitstorm.

Great game, but its hard to be excited about this since SE has been mediocre at best with porting existing games to the IOS.

GAYYYYYYYYY. Fuck you, Squeenix, I was so excited too! Honestly, I don't see it working very well, specially since the battle system not only requires two screens but also 8 complete buttons. They'll need to water it down to have it run properly.
I wouldn't mind if it were something to the effect of Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2, same type of game but a different Game.

Inclusively iDevice owners, who won't even bother with the game given Squeenix's pricing history. Not to mention the money saved! This is a brilliant globally financial move by Square, sparing everyone's money to be spent on arguably better things than a sequel to their game. You really gotta love it when a company cares about you and your income management. Thank you Square, for preventing the existence of things I would enjoy.

Wow, quite possibly the most disappointing thing that could have happened. I had prepared for every contingency, from it simply being a remake on the 3DS to the sequel showing up on the PSP or something. I didn't expect though, that it would be this bad.

I have no clue how this would even play on iOS, and honestly, if you're excited for this, I can't help but wonder why the hell you own an apple device, but don't have a DS capable of playing this game.

Given squenix's track record with iOS game controls I'm not looking forward to this port. I did thought this game was boring and had overcomplicated gameplay but the art was good and the story intriguing enough.

Somehow, I doubt that this sort of countdown would be for the news that they're porting the game to iOS. That might be part of it, but I can't see why they would put up this countdown and get the internet in a collective tizzy if that was the only thing they were going to do.
Oh, the fanatic Square Enix fans will say anything to justify this. Old Square is so dissimilar to the new.
As a huge fan of TWEWY you can count me out of this one. Never was a fan of ios games unless it was Infinity Blade. For anyone who hasn't played it, enjoy the ios port I guess.
We all know that if they do decide to release it on the iOS store, they'll price it far too high. Get the fuck out of here Squenix, come back when you actually take a look at the market you're trying to sell to.
