The Witcher 3 delay doesn't impact Cyberpunk 2077

Well that's reassuring

Following yesterday's news that The Witcher 3 had been pushed back to February 2015, my only real concern was how its extended development would affect another of CD Projekt RED's games, Cyberpunk 2077. It won't. Not in "any significant way," CEO Marcin Iwinski told GameSpot.

Excluding overlap between select developers, "Cyberpunk 2077 is developed by a separate team within CD Projekt Red, so the development of Cyberpunk 2077 is not really affected," he said.

"We are working hard to deliver an outstanding RPG and rest assured, that all the learnings on The Witcher 3 are being applied to the Cyberpunk 2077 development."

All that said, I still get the feeling this game is years and years away. I can't even visualize it.
