Hope it comes soon! As much as I loved the Witcher 2 it does end on a pretty open and sudden note(although the main plot line is resolved)
First one was my favourite RPG to date, but I just couldn't get into the second. Never got past Act II.

I will buy anything Witcher after 2 (Which ironically got me to retry the first game which I originally didn't like). GOTY so far and some of the most fun I can remember having in a game.
i will allways have a spot for buying from cdprojekt, this guys release huge updates for free to their games, and they keep supporting them.
It's a real shame CD Projekt have no intentions on porting the Witcher2 to the Ps3, I really wanted to play it.
Love the books (the two that have been translated into English, anyway) and keep getting tempted to get this...just held off because I'm not hugely into RPGs and I'm not sure I'd have the time to sink into it...but CD Projekt are making it very hard to resist...
@Domii - There may still be a possibility for it, it seems the way CD Projekt Red do things, they focus their efforts on one platform at a time, but then again they could possibly gloss over the PS3 for The Witcher 2's expansion and the Witcher 3, hope everyone gets a go with the game anyhow (hint: it's awesome, buy it for pc!"
This is why I haven't bought the Witcher 2 yet. I want to play through the final product, not jump back in every couple of months. Once they're in full production on Witcher 3 I will have a complete game to play and probably be able to pick it up for $10.

I thought the combat was clunky and unfun, so I just backed away from the series entirely. Do you mean that The Witcher is really great game after you get into it, or do you mean that The Witcher 2 is such a great game that it made you want to play The Witcher despite the shortcomings?

it would be awesome if they include the The Witcher 2 and it's expansion(with 2.0 implemented and all the goodies) for the PS3 all in one package.

Im just playing through the witcher 2 im in first act and wow the graphics are the best i have seen so far. I liked the first one a lot but so far the second 1 seems to improve on a lot of things you get kind of a dragon age 2 feeling....
Not the copypaste dungeouns but more that things became a bit more action oriented so far its been less talking and more fighting but I am enjoying it!

actually, CD Projekt announced that 360 version of Witcher 2 will get several exclusive features/content. on polish conference about Witcher 2 they've announced 12 new features, 3 of which are from 2.0 version - 9 of them will be exclusive to 360.

The original Witcher really is a great game. Once you get into it a bit and ignore some of the ridiculousness, it's a lot of fun to play. The Witcher 2 takes everything that was fun about the witcher, declares it as it's bitch, and then forces it to be no less than 9x more fun.
If you can stomach the absolutely awful voice acting, the original game is definitely worth playing, and the second one is mandatory.
(Mandatory as in I'll come get you if you don't go play it RIGHT NOW.)

on their conference they've said that those 9 will be for 360 so who knows. then again each of 2.0 features were mentioned as one thing so those may be redesigned parts of the game, some recap/flashback sequences following the original game etc.
