WTF are u talking about?? You make it sound like that's the main reason why they delayed the game. CD projekt said the 360 version is not a straibfht up port so they needed extra time to fix and polish the game to the fullest.
The legal beef they got with Namco is a reason of course but the way you say it implies that it's the main/only reason for this.

Of course from a pure marketing perspective, this delay now puts them decidedly OUTSIDE the extremely crowded holiday release window, so they should be able to maximize sales as opposed to getting lost in the crowd of the holidays. After people are through with Skyrim they will need another big and beautiful RPG to sink their teeth into and this will be it for sure (for 360 owners who have not had the fortune to play it yet).
I'm buying this on pc forsure since thats the platform in which I own the first one. BUT need a better computer, not much of a reason to spend money on one though. :P
On one hand I'm bummed I won't be able to play this sooner, on the other hand, that frees up some extra time for the other bazillion games I've got preordered this fall and winter. Plus, extra time for polish and bug squashing is always good.

They'd be better off waiting till next year anyway. This has to be the heaviest holiday season in recent memory. BF3, MW3, Skyrim, Arkham City, Gears3, Halo:CE, Rage, Forza4. That's only the big guns and I know I'm forgetting some.

I've always been kinda interested in this series, but never got into it. I'm looking forward to checking it out, I'm glad it won't be competing for my attention with Skyrim.
The Xbox 360 version of The Witcher 2 will get 11/10 because clearly Destructoid hates PC gaming.

Since I gave up on this ever hitting a PS3, I instead decided I'd just buy an expensive gaming quality laptop with my income tax return this year and play it then. I HAVE the game, but this system can't run it. Absolutely loved the first game, and even read and thoroughly enjoyed the first two English translated Witcher novels.
