The Witch and the Hundred Knight

The Witch and The Hundred Knight has a dog girl

I guess it's going to be a slow trickle of short gameplay snippets for NIS' The Witch and the Hundred Knight leading up to the PS3 RPG's March 21/25 (Europe/North America) release. Hmm, butting up pretty closely against Titanfall, innit?

This is definitely flying under the radar, but it could be quite good. I've yet to be able to wrap my head around the action oriented battle system, but that alone is an interesting turn from NIS' typical SRPG gameplay.

Plus, there are witches, dog girls, and buxom giant monster ladies.

Y2K is a surrealist fantasy told through the lens of a Murakami-loving hipster

Y2K began with protagonist Alex Eggleston returning to his his hometown from college. I watched him gaze out of bus windows until the scene shifted to him sharing a seat with a man in a panda costume. This was jarring enough to give Alex reason to look completely shaken and offended, and as the jaunty soundtrack suggested, should have felt super quirky and weird. It didn't.more
