Seems the download server is saturated right now. As long as it is mildly amusing as A Vampire Story I think I'll like it.
I really enjoy point and click adventure games on my PSP (or even as PSN games for the PS3)... I hope it jumps to the consoles at some point!
This game is pretty great. It really manages to capture the feel of the Point and Click games of yesterday while maintaining a visual style that has the polish and oomph to be recognizable as a game made for this generation.
The only thing that sucks is the voice acting but even that is not as bad as people are making it seem. Once you get used to the main character you'll find that his voice is actually quite appropriate for his personality.
I know where some of my money will be going this year. I'm very picky with the games I actually buy now a days but this is one that has made the list, for sure.

Yea, the main characters voice seems very grating at first, but it actually turns out to fit him.

Tried the demo. Really wasn't my cup of tea. I don't mind point and click games, but this just wasn't doing it for me. Thanks for the heads up on the demo, though.
I am so glad that this game finally made it out. The development cycle was extremely scary and started out very very small. I think it turned out great, but if you are going to get it, make it a foreign version with English subtitles because everyone is right, the English voice acting is pretty bad.
The game has been available here in germany since last summer. And it's amazing. Beautiful, BEAUTIFUL game. The only thing I didn't like were some rather disconnected "minigame" logic puzzles. But that's just a small issue. Anyone with a soft spot for point & click adventures really should give it a try.
