The Week in Rock Band DLC: Toby Keith, The Shins, more photo

Earlier this week, Harmonix and MTV Games announced the Toby Keith six-track pack for Rock Band and everyone dusted off their cowboy hats.

But there's more, so prepare yourselves:

  • Black Tide - "Warriors of Time"
  • Bullet For My Valentine - "Waking the Demon"
  • The Shins - "New Slang"

Each track'll cost you $1.99 (or 160 MS Points for Xbox 360). What do you think? If you're not into country music, is indie-rock and metal a good alternative? But let's get real, it's kind of hard to follow a week that featured f**king Journey, you know?

Jesus, finally. I was wondering how long it'd take Harmonix to get the Shins onto RockBand.

I like The Shins but I just don't see them having a place in Rock Band... Or at least not this song. Why not something more upbeat? D:

YES! Bullet for my Valentine! About damn time! Also, Black Tide. :D

Good to see a rock band that originated from Miami, Florida make it into this game.

Holy shit The Shins. YES.
Would have rather had Caring is Creepy. New Slang is a great song but not sure how well it will work.

As much as I love the Shins, I think Samit's right. New Slang is pretty much acoustic.

I'm stoked about The Shins, but there are plenty of other songs that could be on Rock Band.

And with that point, I would kill for some Kings of Leon. Sex on Fire would tear up a party.

And I want the Decemberists. An epic 8 minute song about being a 17th century sailor? Why yes, thank you.
