The Week in Rock Band DLC: Pearl Jam's Ten photo

So while it seems like we've talked about this five or six times since it was announced last December, here we are again -- Pearl Jam's Ten is coming to the Rock Band Music Store. When? Next week, Tuesday and Thursday on Xbox LIVE Marketplace and the PlayStation Store, respectively.

The downloadable tracks will make the full album in conjunction with "Alive," which appeared on the Rock Band 2 disc. The 11 tracks can be downloaded as a pack for $17.99 (or 1440 MS Points), or for $1.99 (160 MS Points) per song. And they are:

"Once," "Even Flow," "Why Go," "Black," "Jeremy," "Oceans," "Porch," "Garden," "Deep," "Release," and "Master/Slave."

Perhaps you've heard of some of these tracks, and if you were a teen in the 90s and didn't live under a rock, you probably know them all. Whether you like them is a different story. I'll be buying them all, because even though I'm not a big Pearl Jam fan (I didn't buy a single one of the 987 live albums they released a few years back, for example), these should be fun across all instruments in Rock Band

Buy or pass for you?

These are a must-have for the RB collection. I am also not a huge fan of the band, but this is arguably one of the best rock albums of the past few decades.

I definitely want Jeremy and Evenflow for sure. Not sure about the rest of the album though. Maybe I should go and listen to it again.

My wife was a huge Pearl Jam fan during high school (even did a really awesome portrait drawing of him for art class), so when this was first announced, she literally squealed with glee.

Tuesday's going to be a download-heavy day, what with this and Fallout 3's The Pitt coming out...

Special Rock Band party just for this DLC. They are going to make a TON of money on this one.

Doubt I'd get the full set, but I'm definitely getting a few songs. I've had 2000 points sitting on my account for ages, and the only other thing I've wanted to spend it on so far is Peggle.

Definitely be getting Evenflow and Black. Perhaps Jeremy, not sure. Ill have to listen to the rest of the album a bit more to see if the whole lot are worth it.

This is one of my favoritest albums/bands of all time. Day one purchase and special RB party to showcase it. Also, holy crap! We're getting the weird, experimental, no-discernible-beat "Master/Slave", as well? I'm curious how that will work.

Great album, I'm in!

Great track this week, too! That James Brown is some funky ish, and those New Pornos songs are GREAT!!

Pass. I used to like Pearl Jam, but the nostalgia didn't carry. They're okay, but not something I'll spend money on.

Definitely getting this. It's the only Pearl Jam album I cared about. In fact...I don't think I even enjoyed another single that came from a post-Ten album. Ouch. But I did love Ten.

Pearl Jam is my favorite band (though I'm not a huge fan of their post-Vitalogy work), so this is the first must-buy album to hit since Doolittle.
