The Week in Rock Band DLC: Lenny Kravitz four-pack, two Harmonix bands photo

Rock Band DLC leaks seem to have become a regularity these days -- rumors of a Lenny Kravitz four-song track pack hit the ScoreHero forums last week, and now they’ve been confirmed by Harmonix (PR after the jump). But to spice things up, Harmonix has also included two songs from its own bands.

Next week, we’ll be getting “Are You Gonna Go My Way,” “Freedom Train,” “Let Love Rule,” and “Cab Driver,” all from the half-Jewish, half-black singer-songwriter. The two Harmonix tracks are “Megasus” by ... Megasus, and “Entangled” by Honest Bob and the Factory-to-Dealer Incentives (you may remember them from their song “I Get By,” which was on the original Rock Band disc).

The Lenny Kravitz four-pack will be available for $6.99 (560 MS Points), which is a discount over even the usual three-pack price -- here, you’re paying just under $1.75 per song, whereas with a three-pack, you pay $1.83 for each song. (Of course, you can also get the songs individually for $1.99, or 160 MS Points, each). The two Harmonix tracks will be sold at the cheapo price of $0.99 (80 MS Points) each.

As usual, look for the songs to hit Xbox Live first (Tuesday, January 13), and the PlayStation Network two days later (Thursday, January 15). I’ll definitely be picking up “Are You Gonna Go My Way” at the very least -- I love that Hendrix-like guitar riff -- what about you?

Some more Darkest of the Hillside Thickets would be nice, but probably won't ever happen. Oh well.

I'll probably get the Kravitz and Megasus this week though.
