Next week's Rock Band downloadable content brings us a three track Crüe Fest pack, once again containing a Motley Crüe track that is not "Shout at the Devil" or "Girls, Girls, Girls."

With that crushing disappointment out of the way, for $2.99 (240 MS Points) you'll be able to get Buckcherry's "Rescue Me," Motley Crüe's "Face Down in the Dirt," and Sixx AM's "Live is Beautiful." I honestly have never heard any of those songs, but let's say you've only heard of one, you can pick them up for $0.99 (80 MS Points) a piece.

But these next two songs, available as single tracks for $1.99 (160 MS Points) a piece may make up for it: System of a Down's "B.Y.O.B." and "Toxicity" will also be available. Finally, maybe the answers to the questions "Why, do you own the world?" and "Why don't presidents fight the war?" can finally be answered via a videogame.

Xbox LIVE Marketplace gets the tracks next Tuesday, August 5; PlayStation Network on Thursday, August 7.

I might pick up some of the System of a Down stuff. I bet the singing would be pretty fun.

You know, I feel stupid for not realizing until now. But isn't it cheaper if you have a PS3 to buy the three .99 cent tracks separate rather than buying all three for 2.99? 2.97<2.99 right?

I can't believe it took me this long to realize that. I guess it's just because of Microsoft's funky point system?

Hell yes, both SoaD songs are a must buy. I also like that Sixx AM song, "Life Is Beautiful" so I will grab that as well.

They should have used Buckcherry's "Crazy Bitch" or "Lit Up".

I wonder if anybody over at Harmonix has ever heard System of a Downs first album....because its fucking awesome! From there 2nd album on has been trash. Spiders, Sugar, Pluck, War; oh my god I would die for some of those tracks.

I would rather see "Livewire" and "To Young To Fall In Love" from Motley Crue and "Spiders" and "Metro" from SOAD. I don't know how well Spiders would translate, but I think it's one of their best songs.

@ Syn

All very good songs but you know they'll gimp the drum parts until they start allowing a second bass pedal. Vocals and guitar would be very fun to play on those, though.

Yeah, I thought about that after I said it, the lack of a double kick has been a complaint of mine for a long time, but it would still be nice. I'm glad there's someone here that knows some music though, you rock \m/!
