Ladies and gentlemen, the series that nobody asked to return has come back! Yes, after a very welcome break that most people hoped would last forever, The Videogame Show What I've Done has returned for another season (I'm going to pretend it's a season when it's really not) of insightful video commentary and family reminiscence.
This week sees me finally make the full transition from Windows Movie Maker to some video editing software not made by drooling monkey retards. That's why things look a little different (and are actually not blurry as fuck or in SD or otherwise rubbish). It's about Metal Gear Solid and I quite like it.
Go do a watching of that. You've literally got nothing better to do.
Jim Sterling serves as reviews editor for Destructoid.com, head of the Podtoid podcast, and produces a number of news stories, original features, one-of-a-kind videos. Meet the rest of the team
... the women with guns, zero punctuation/British stuff... too many too list! Love it!! (I love clever satire that is right out there and not hidden away). Great job Jim!
*Some sort of reference to some sort of review that happened*
I liked the reference to Yatzhee. No-one can talk rant or talk sarcastically about games these days within being seen as a ZP rip-off, who is oddly enough very very heavily influenced by Charlie Brooker.
This is a total Yahtzee rip-off because you are British and didn't you know only one person in the world is allowed to be British and talk about games?
I am suing you in Mr. Yahtzee's name for this blatant plagarism and fraud.
As a British person I hate the Yahtzee thing. Even Australian people get off lighter than us and he freaking lives there!
@shinryu108
Part of the point is that in the background he plays the games horribly. I think some of the charm would be lost if he actually tried to do well. If you look at the Demon's Souls, DJ Hero and Left 4 Dead episodes that's probably the biggest joke in the videos.
@x1251 yup you nailed it. funny cause thats the same thing i did to your mom.
but since you have a metal gear avatar im not gonna bother arguing with you about anything MG related. cause your facts are way more important than my opinion.
and by the way ive had MGS since it was first released and i had no trouble then. loved the game, still do.
but i could say the exact same thing for resident evil. except i could say it for the whole series. ive played games for many years now, ive gotten used to thousands of different control schemes. its what you have to do as a gamer.
but i have gone back to alot of games from the past and always wondered why they did what they did. sorta like twisted metal with the up and down as gas and break. was kinda weird. just shows how games age.
either that or someone in your family is retarded and you hate when people use the word for other things. but hate it even more when someone calls a human retarded. and that sir is retarded.
i dont know what you mean jim but to me its still blurry as fuck
i mean look at the caracters they all look like blocks, im pretty sure this has everything to do with that program your using, with you and with the internet in general, i know all this becuz im studying programming therefore i know everything about things with wheels
It's great to have this back. This one actually made me laugh more than many of the last ones, great way to include Yahtzee references, so good. Hahaha! Keep it up Jim.
Benjamin Richard "Yahtzee" Croshaw (born 24 May 1983,Rugby, Warwickshire, England) is an English comedic writer, video game journalist and author of adventure games.
Thank god, I was worried that you were going to stop making these at Christmas for some reason.
Also I hope that this video will put an end to the no-Avs who post 'This is blatantly a rip off of Zero Punctuation who did this first actually.' and then never leave another comment again, but I doubt they'll be put off.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Hilarious shit, keep it up!

And by it I mean my salty sea men.
And by salty sea men I mean sperm.
...too far?
Good work, Yahtzee!!
Nice work, Jim.

Loved it. Keep up these shows, I had never knew they were this funny...

I didn't care too much for this game. It felt like I played through seven levels that took longer than it should. Not my thing.

It's a reference to zero punctuation and his videos.
"zero punctuation rip off"
so well done on calling them out on that.
Also I hope that this video will put an end to the no-Avs who post 'This is blatantly a rip off of Zero Punctuation who did this first actually.' and then never leave another comment again, but I doubt they'll be put off.
Ah, well that explains it. I guess I don't like 'zero punctuation'.
