There originally wasn't going to be one of these this week, since I was traveling. However, I had an idea on the plane ride home and I found it so funny I laughed really loudly in the face of the frightened woman sat next to me. Then I punched an air stewardess when she told me to calm down. I also refused to turn off my electronics when the plane was about to land. That's the last time Delta messes with me.
This is being posted tonight on account of the site downtime happening tomorrow. Be warned that this one has a few offensive bits in it. Not that you really should worry about that kind of thing if you're still paying attention to my diseased rubbish after all these years.

I like the british mans videos because his voice makes me laugh. it's a funny accent that i'm not used to hearing since I live in America. A place where that accent is not very popular. it's a funny accent though, and jim sterling is quite the character.
I'd like to be the first person to openly admit I had this game, and I actually liked it...It's unfortunate there was never a 'Avoid the Noid' video game.
I like the way he pretends he's dumb by saying dumb things, and therefore makes his point clear by saying the opposite of what he means, by portraying the dumb opinions as though they are from a dumb man!
Such logical fallacy delights me! More exclamation points though!!!!!
I liked this one a lot, and it delivered teh lols, but I might add in the friendliest way possible that these videos tend to go on about a minute or so longer than they need to.
@Banana...There was a Noid game? I'm almost shamed I don't remember it. I do have Cool Spot on my PC and actually played it the other day...I really used to like it...Perspective is everything though. Any linkage on any Noid driven software?
Ocified-Xboxer: it was an nes game, so you should be able to find roms of it easily enough if you want to play it. there seems to be a surprisingly long entry for it on wikipedia, too:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yo_Noid
(not that it's actually a long article, but i figured all you'd get was "Yo Noid was an NES game" and that's about it).
fun fact: Yo! Noid was one of the few videogames my dad tried to play - i've probably never heard him swear so much in my life :)
@Mr. Sterling:: What part was offensive? (Maybe I should go to sensitivity training...)
@Ocified-Xboxer:: I can dig out my copy of Yo! Noid and take a picture if it's necessary... It was better than Cool Spot (because I didn't have Cool Spot). : )~
I haven't finished watching the video, but I couldn't wait to say that hearing a British person saying "Check it out now, the funk soul brotha" so colloquially is the funniest thing ever.
Haha, I loved the Noid game at the time, and I remember playing Cool Spot during a night of underaged binge drinking with my family-oriented friends, who were not a close family and not from the orient, but whatever.
The first one was awesome but there are only so few jokes you can do like this. Probably should have just left it at Mega Man.
On a side note, Destructoid needs an effing video podcast. I keep missing Rev Rants or Videogame Show What I've Dones or the other Destructoid originals because once their off the front page... never to be seen again.
Is it supposed to be funny? Or is it supposed to not be funny but make me think it's supposed to be funny. Either way it wasn't funny and I think I got trolled.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

I recently felt old when I saw a kid telling his mother that he didn't want to drink Um Bongo because he didn't know what it was.
The Phil Colins genesis part was good though.
That game was awesome. And by awesome, I mean terrible.

I hope you take this all the way (to 100 episodes).
@the Noid game
I shit you not, guys, Yo Noid is one of my favorite games of ALL time.
"Phil Collins Genesis"
. . . I don't think we ever got past the frist level.
This review was hillarious - great jorb!
But I'll attribute the slight decline in quality based on you not really wanting to do a video so kudos for doing one anyways :)
