The very first Shin Megami Tensei is on iOS this week

1:00 PM on 03.19.2014

Although the Shin Megami Tensei has been wildly successful in Japan from the very beginning, we still haven't seen a number of the earlier franchise entries. Atlus is seeking to solve that problem, starting with the first Tensei entry on iOS. You can grab it now for $5.99 until March 31st, at which point it'll revert to its standard price of $7.99.

Although I'm sure we'd all love Vita ports on the PSN, something is better than nothing. As a kid who always wanted to play some of these out of reach games, I would have never dreamed that they would been seen on a phone someday.

I love portable platforms.
