Our little community-run IRC channel has been active since 2007, and some years ago we moved from some server I don't even remember to Dynastynet. However, Dynastynet has been having some serious connections issues the past few weeks, so we have now moved #destructoid to Quakenet.
It will probably take some time to get everything back up and running like it was before, so please bear with us. You can use the following info to connect through the client of your choice, or use Quakenet's webirc instead. If you are new to IRC, check out the now slightly outdated IRC guide.
Server: irc.quakenet.org (port 6667)
Channel: #destructoid
One downside of Quakenet is that some usernames may already be in use -- although nicks can't be registered on Quakenet -- and registering yourself on Quakenet works a little bit different. Just hop into the channel and ask if you need any help.
I am executively naming Jonathan Ross a.k.a. Aerox as the new Grand Über Op Wizard Dragonborn, with bloodylip as second in command. Jake Clarke a.k.a. Hammertiem has been instrumental in moving the channel and setting up things these last few days, and is hereby knighted Ser Botmaster as a reward. theGoldenAvatar a.k.a. tGA will share those technical responsibilities with him for his contributions with DtoidBot, and you may refer to him as Lord Sansa Tarly henceforth.
