Screw totally metal hacks for Guitar Hero. The real awesome hack is turning your Guitar Hero guitar into an actual instrument. No offense to the Guitar Zeros, but Chris from the awesome videogame cover band, Powerglove, has made this extremely awesome Guitar Hero controller mod that blows anything before it into smithereens. Then, after he finishes, he starts to list off what he needed to make the guitar as well as showing how everything works. Here's the list of things you need:

Simply amazing. So anyone from the community want to give this a try? Also, if you've never heard of Powerglove then be sure to check their stuff out. They are easily one of my favorite videogame cover bands around -- next to Dale's of course.

Making multiplayer music in Fantasia: Music Evolved

Harmonix revealed a multiplayer mode for Fantasia: Music Evolved at GDC last week alongside some new songs and levels. I jumped in front of a Kinect sensor to try out the new mode, and it wasn't long before I was flapping my arms to the beat.  Can't you hear that boom, badoom, boom, boom, badoom, boom, bass?    more
