You know what's awesome? Late '80s and the early '90s entertainment. You know what's not awesome? Re-watching the shows you used to love a decade later only to realize that most of what you liked was really crap. It's not always the case, but watching this montage of Nick Arcade fail makes me question everything I used to love about Nickelodeon prior to my absolute hatred of the network after they destroyed Invader Zim.
It's amazingly hilarious watching how these kids just can't follow simple instructions. "Identify three out of five different office supplies." "A HAMBURGER!" Plus, the show's host has to be on some kind of drug in order to keep the level of constant happy he's at.

I remember thinking this show was whack even when I was a kid. I could tell just by how bad they all were at the "in the video game" parts just how bunk the technology was.
I think American kid's are just stupid, but I actually like this show. It was in a series of kids contest shows. They were amusing to say the least. However, I watched this and was like ok, ya American kids are dumb but then the kid said Texas is what is separated by the Rio Grand from Mexico, and the little fucker was right and then he was counted wrong. Wow, both sides were dumb. I mean come on. Who the hell brings on kids who don't play video games? These little fuckers couldn't do jack right.

I mean Nick sold Doug to Disney. They can't be that protective. Then again it would make sense and I'm like 50% sure Viacom did say Cartoon Network's parent company offered a wad of cash for Invader Zim.
I dunno if Jhonen was on board though. No Jhonen no sale...sort of...truthfully some of the best moments weren't Jhonen's writing but the whole universe was 100% Jhonen.

I know they're trying to make the show look bad, but it still looks pretty damn good to me. I mean yeah, kids are dumb and can't play video games, but that's pretty normal. I would've wanted to be on it. However I wish I could remember what the show was that had the kids run through a maze wearing a velcro suit and stick video games to themselves when they won, because that was the best thing ever.
I watched it to see the games... but yes, it was terrible. They clearly picked kids randomly, who had no idea about video games, shown day in and out by the terrible playing they did.

Shows like Nick Arcade and Legend of the hidden temple made me laugh so hard. Nick Arcade showed how kids did now know how to play new games at the time...LoTHT showed how stupid america was becoming because they wouldn't listen and/or they don't know history.

It's like cartoon channels can't make good quality cartoons anymore so in order to get "by" they show afteroon marathons of the same shit over and over. Don't even get me started on how they killed Cartoon Network.
Nicktoons channel started off godly with just 90s nicktoons and indie cartoon shorts. Then they fucked that up. Not AS bad, but you don't see 1 bit of 90s cartoons on there anymore as everything was replaced with basically everything Nick used to show about a year ago.

Fairy Odd Parents was also great, but now I think its getting old. Remember Rocket Power? That was the shit. Mark Mothersbaugh doing the kick ass theme song. It ALMOST made me get off my Playstation and get a bike. ALMOST!
At Best Buy they have some Leap Frog game that features Zim on the cover. I'm guessing they never watched the Alien Babies episode.........

Invader Zim was and still is good,never did catch on with Rocko's Modern Life(but it did feel somewhat good),and yes,I used to bloody watch LOTHT when I was still a bloody prick.It showed me that kids in America were either a little bit uninformed in their general knowledge,or their parents were not teaching them properly.
