The solar-powered, portable Wii station

Treehuggers, put down your soy beans and inch a little closer for this one: The guys from Tom's Hardware have put together a rolling solar-powered Wii kiosk using a single 20 watt solar panel to run their gaming rig. So what good is it? Level 70 geek factor aside, the engineerer states that they can get 5-6 hours of game time anywhere they go. Not bad if have an uncontrollable desire to break out Excite Truck when you're doing peyote in the desert, living on the blood of snakes. The guys wheel it down to Venice Beach where bewildered passersby get their game face on -- check out the video.

Anyone care to top this?  I have a blueprint for a Corvette engine Wii alternative.

I don't know what to say. I'm so confused by the photo Poetic posted.

Solar Panels + Wii = gaming with a conscience?

How unintelligent. How many of us remembered that sunlight interferes with the sensor bar?

Nukkus:

Yo.

I'm going to get cracking on that geothermal ice machine I've had on the backburner.

Poetic: Here's my rebuttal to your statement.

After financing my game consoles, and selling my plasma for a couple games, why not save some money on something that's not important..... like my electric bill? LOL

They'd need about 10 more to power their 360 or PS3.
