The DOJO!! week started off less than great. Sure, we got to see Pit racing to help the
Smash crew, but they could have done a little more than just what we
saw in the video. On Tuesday, we got to see
Diddy Kong's special moves set. For his standard attack, he has a gun that shoots out peanuts. If you use the gun for too long though, it will explode. Also, you can eat the peanuts to recover a little health. For his up special, he whips out a double-barreled jet engine that he can use to give himself higher jumping abilities. If you get attacked while using the rockets, the rockets will break away from Diddy and randomly go all over the place until it hits something and explodes.
On Wednesday, a character profile was finally done on Meta Knight. (Why did it take them so long to do one on Meta Knight?) A double update was done on Thursday with Mario and a new stage. Mario's special moves set was shown and he will be using the stupid water pack (F.L.U.D.D.) from Mario Sunshine. Using the water gun does no damage on your opponents at all, it just pushes them back (which would make for a very dirty strategy). A new Pokemon Stadium stage was revealed as well Thursday. There will be four different types of transformations: Ice, Ground, Electric and Flying.
Finally, today's update was all about the music from the game. Two tracks were released before the really big music announcement. We've already heard the Main Theme plenty of times which was one of the tracks. The Pokemon Stadium theme has to be my favorite though just for the little easter egg towards the end of it. The music selection is going to be as grand and epic as the selection of characters you can fight with and as grand as all the Trophies you will be able to use. There will be much more than just the score for each stage you can listen to. Some of the songs from games past and present in Nintendo's library will be remastered or left untouched in which you can select which songs are played in any level. You have total control in how the music will work. You'll also be able to collect CDs in the game that will unlock more music for you to listen too.
What did you all think of this weeks updates?
*exeunt*
Who knows how much music this game will have? I wouldn't be suprized if it has over 100 tracks.
If you have ever loved a Nintendo game, you have to buy Smash Bros Brawl. This statement was once a mere bill, sitting on video game capital hill. But this update makes that bill a law.

or 'FIGHT!' for taht matter....
It's very likely that Ganondorf will remain in the game. Eiji Aonuma kind of let it slip during an interview that he was overseeing some redesigns for Sheik and Ganondorf for Brawl. More here.
I'd expect to see Ganondorf with a unique moveset this time around, though. Although, personally, I don't think that that's really a bad thing.
I guess we can look forward to Luigi sporting the Poltergust then?
Obviously this is probably a feature which is too time consuming to implement in a game like SBB, but the customizable nature of this game is kind of giving a nod to future game design.
I honestly think this is going to be one of the best multiplayer games ever.
oh, and the alternate costume-alternate attacks idea? Good to know other people had the same idea as I did.
Allows the clones, but doesn't at the same time.
FUCK THAT GAME
I doubt it. Ever played a fighting game online? Even the smallest deviation in latency can make the game really unfair. Brawl will primarily be a game for everyone to invite their friends over for.
