I know, I know -- The Sims 3 Hidden Springs sounds like a parody of itself. It's real, and players can download it from The Sims 3 Store using SimPoints this SimMonth. This new world will be available starting on August 25 for the PC and Mac versions of the game.

The bulk of this content involves relaxing places like spas, a ski lodge, and the Museum of Magic and Supernatural. Uh, right. There's apparently a mystery to the healing properties of Hidden Springs as well. Truth be told, mysteries do make everything slightly better.

I'm left wondering where the developers can go from here. The Sims 3 Dino Riders has to be coming up shortly.
