Destructoid is gaming news, community, videos, and sometimes love. Take the tour or jump in with Facebook:

Usually I'm not one to care for MMOs, but Funcom's "modern world" take on the massively multiplayer genre has left me feeling quite impressed. The art style for The Secret World is unique and more than a little twisted, and the brand new trailer, posted after the jump, as incredibly cool. I love the look of the weird crow monster. Very classy indeed.

Make sure you watch the video, then check out the gallery for a whole bunch of concept art. This is coming to both PC and Xbox 360, and is very promising stuff indeed. Let's just hope Funcom has more luck with this than with Age of Conan.

That was rad. I just wish Funcom would change their names to something less lame-sounding.

Coming to both PC and Xbox 360, just like Age of Conan.

...wait a second.

When she picked up the feather, for a moment there, it looked like a real person. Like if you squinted a little or something, you'd have a hard time deciding. Graphics have really come a long way.

I wholeheartedly agree, those designs are bloody amazing. Here's hoping this doesn't suck.

I'll never play any game with a monthly fee, but it sure does look awesome.

Watched the vid twice. Yup, looked that good. I was kinda rootin' for the monster as I was watching it.

Also, more nice wallpaper for us.

This is probably the only MMO I've ever really been curious about, and its really too bad its not for PS3 because my computer probably won't be able to run it, and I don't want to pay 60 dollars just to run this game online with my 360.

Yeah, CG trailers and concept art are always the best representatives of how good a game will be to play.

Sunscription fees, grinding, need I say more? Oh, did I mention subscription fees?

Dont worry about grinding, this game will not be a traditional game, more like eve's skill based system.

Let me change your headline for you so it's actually correct:

"THIS TRAILER (WHICH HAS ABSOLUTELY NO GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE IN IT WHATSOEVER) LOOKS BLOODY AMAZING"

One worrying sign is that there were absolutely none of the development/publishing team around the booth at PAX and the team of people there didnt even know that the game was scheduled for release on the 360
