Let me explain what it is:
It's an MMO with de-emphasized combat, no levels, quests that involve staying away from enemies, quests that involve ARGs and fictional websites that you can google right here, right now, and stories that are actually interesting and compelling to follow. It is, literally, the most interesting thing to arrive on the scene in ages - and this coming from someone who almost never plays MMOs for longer than three days: I'm planning to keep playing this one.
Interesting, but I'm in serious a MMO burnout right now, and getting one with a subscription model seems less likely to me.
I am playing Rift right now though, coming off a 3-4 year MMO break.
Oh look, another one of those cute kids shooting his mouth off without first hand experience of the product.
i don't want to be suckered into paying a monthly fee, i just want to see how fucking much a product costs before i buy it.
