I was going to do the standard Ten Minute Taste thing for The Saboteur, but then I figured you guys deserved something a little sexier than that. Instead, have a saucy little slice of something we talked about earlier today -- The Saboteur's "Midnight Show" DLC. Be warned that the video is very much NSFW.
Those who buy The Saboteur brand new get this little thank-you from Pandemic. You can choose to view a naughty dance from one of three lovely ladies, or you can choose the full monty and have all three girls at once. We naturally went for the trois option, and have recorded it for your own sordid amusement.
It's worth noting how the nudity in The Saboteur is not as creepy as it usually is in videogames. There's something quite classy about it, which makes it altogether sexier. The women are fairly well proportioned and realistic, and while it's clearly sex for sex's sake, it still manages to look more mature and less cheesy than most games that claim to have important, intelligent sexual content. Dragon Age, I'm looking at you!
The Saboteur is out next week in North America, and will hit the UK tomorrow. Be on the lookout for our review, which will go up before the game's American release.

Wow, your right that was pretty well done for a video game. But I fail to see why you call out Dragon Age and not this. Here you have girls dancing in a club with no connection to the girls, in DA you develop a mutual relationship. Explain.
AngryJoeShow: I think this particular footage is just so much less pretentious than Dragon Age. The relationships in Dragon Age really aren't very believable or meaningful to begin with, and the lame, cheesy, Enya-esque "sex scene" that follows feels forced, unnatural, silly and anticlimactic.
At least The Saboteur doesn't pretend to be more than what it is -- naked ladies dancing for your own amusement.
I got hold of the Game this monday and adter playing a couple hours i highl recommend checking it out. If you have any Love in your heart for mafia (pc-version, of course), classy nudity and blowing shit up. The developers last Game sadly became Theor best.. (yeah, i went there.)
Jim Sterling: Well made point, but for me, I didnt find it that cheesy. Oh and I actually liked that Lelianna Song one of the more memorable music moments in gaming. Paw did a video on just that moment here: http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/teamt/paw/full-circle/13918-ep020
But Yea Ultimately your right in that for Sexualness Saboteur > Dragon Age.
Wow those are great animations. Is it weird that I was looking at the hair and joints to see how good the collision detection was? Because most of the time something like hair going through someone's shoulder or thighs and calves overlapping really ruins it.
I think it's a maturation point for gaming to get past the taboo of nudity, as a form of storytelling how can it really be honest if it can't approach sex the same way Books, Movies, Music, and Cable TV can? Take a look at True Blood for an example, it is over the top with nudity, but it sells the story in terms of describing the sexual nature of the characters.
I am looking forward to this game, and not just for the nudity. I am glad that this is in this game.
The laughable way that American culture (and I am a U.S. citizen) treats nudity. I found the "romance" scenes in DA:O jaring when Morrigan is more sexy in her normal clothing than her granny panties. It looks absurd when people should be naked, and they are not.
Maybe someday the U.S. will realize that violence is more offensive than sex, and we adults should have access to both in our entertainment.

People have already mentioned the no jiggle, however I'm way more concerned about the complete lack of facial expression on the models. It was all mocapped so they did very little as far as hand-animating the girls. But they could have least give them a smile or some kind of facial expression on the closeup parts.
People mention being "creeped out" and it's usually because of them not blinking or having no facial movement. That's when the uncanny valley REALLY kicks in.
That's really good animation. Also, boobs. I wonder when we will get a game brave enough to show us a vagina? Then again, most movies don't do that either.
I didn't think it as as creepy as most games... But they are show girls... how in the world is it classy? Dragon Age might be rather cheesy but it is more classy than tit bouncing show girls.

That said, Bayonetta is hot and her proportions are wildly overexaggerated. I don't know, I'm just strange.
No age gate? I'm only 3!

Complaints out of the way, it was pleasant to watch, which means it fulfilled it's purpose.
:) I would like to know!

The animations were pretty damn good.
It's just so... classy.
Agreed.
