Oh deary me! You haven't forgotten about The Real Texas, have you? It left quite the impression on me, to say the least. I would say that not a week goes by in which I don't think about it. I've been waiting for the soundtrack to be available for download, and finally my prayers to Hammon have been answered! You can see for yourself why I love its jams by downloading them here.

If you've been waiting for the perfect moment to make the purchase, now is the most opportune time of all! You can now scoop it up on GOG.com, Desura, or GamersGate, each 40% off. Pick one, I don't care how, and buy it! Want it on Steam? Greenlight that bad boy.

Oh, and there's even a hint towards new DLC in the future. Hooray!

Etrian Mystery Dungeon is a quirky spinoff in line with series legacy

Over the years, Atlus has become one of the more endearing presences in gaming. One thing fans appreciate is its tendency to switch things up. The publisher has a handle on the niche gaming scene, and it's reassuring to know ...more

Xenoblade Chronicles X shows off dynamic weather, day-night cycle

Day and night cycles aren't new, but it's a pretty one at least. Actually, thinking on it, more RPGs (particularly Japanese RPGs) could benefit from a day and night cycle just for the perceived visual variation on the hours ...more

Dragon Quest Heroes free DLC adds new character, costumes

Dragon Quest Heroes is already out in Japan -- thankfully, it has also just recently been confirmed for a Western release -- and its first wave of DLC is on the way. And it's all going to be free. First up is the Arena Battle...more
