And, more importantly, can we have a jet?
Also, Why?
What price would you pay for an ELO Rock Band, complete with Cello, Violin, Horn, and Synthesizer instruments? Special edition includes a lock of Jeff Lynne's hair.
Would a surrealist or dadaist game be worth playing?
or would it be frustrating?
I remember reading reviews when the Harvey Birdman game came out that complained that it was frustrating, due to the dada-esqe nature of the comedy.
Britian was the third place country that made the most videogames.
However given this fact there arent any expo's in Britain.
Well cept Game On.
but thats new.
do you feel that there isnt much of a gaming culture/infrastructure. and what improvements would need to be made.
this kinda plays into what you were saying a couple of episodes ago about how games developers are spread over the country.
also has jim recovered from the discovery of the hold on his psp?
I'm thinking an Eastenders MMO?
Bernards Watch as a Braid clone?
Wardrox, what made you choose your field of study?
What game have you played so much you could play it blindfolded, and across the room using coffee stirrers taped to your finger tips whilst hanging upside down in a waterfall.
Also did you know a strip poker game without nudity will come out to WiiWare ?
I'll pay for an artbook and score
But even I'm not this big of a whore
A real Night Vision Goggle?
My mind this does boggle
They'll be tons of these left in the store
And for my question, once digital distribution becomes even more standard, do you think game publishers will find them selves in a similar spot as book publishers with e-books, who are being forced to re-shift their paradigm, now that the standard price for digitally distributed books is $9.99. We've already seen backlash against games like Castle Crashers and Braid due to their high(er) price point, and with games, the cost of producing them is much much higher then their literary counterparts, a showdown between the consumer and producer seems inevitable. One interesting thing that publishers have started doing is staggering the releases of electronic counterparts to expected big sellers to theoretically boost the profits by guiding people to purchase the more costly real life version. The jury is still out on if it works or not of course, but if so, do you think that could be a viable path for the games industry? Your thoughts on the whole issue?
Also, a special thanks to Wardrox for being a sole voice of reason in this absurd anti-Left4Dead2/anti-anti-Left4Dead2 tomfoolery.
It's the kind of program I used to watch, and always wanted to punch the little git in the face.
Even though I'm atleast 9 years older than him.
i would either do something sexual to people
or freeze time and punch low flying seagulls , that'd be sweet
Jim, I’d like to know two things. Firstly, I’ve listened to an early episode, and it had you treating the Podcastle as an actual castle - why did you drop that pretense? Secondly, did you know there’s another podcast called the Podcastle? Finally, when are you moving to America, and when you do, will the Podcastle be cancelled? My friend Scott says hi, by the way. He’ll come up with a witty rejoinder soon.
Not payin', not playin'
(unless play.com sells it for £40 or less)
If the piss-weak Pound means that I have to ease off on my videogames purchases for a while, then that's what I'll have to do. My other option is: mug a granny and nick her purse. Tempting, but I'll refrain....
a)Overweight
b)A Microsoft whore

d)The next Robert Summa

No offense, Lauren, you're still in my top 10.
What a twat.
Wardrox, what do you think games need to improve upon the most, technology wise, in the next few years?
Jim, as one big guy to another, what is the lamest insult regarding your weight that you ever recieved?
Do youn think other companies will do what Activision is doing to COD: MW2, and up the price on big name titles like Bioshock and Max Payne 3?
In the unlikely event of you getting this far down the listener questions you should ask yourselves this:
Infinite supply of videogames, or infinite supply of food. Which would you rather have?
Does Activision not see a difference between the market in the United Kingdom and Australia now?
To Jim: How long do you plan on making your "The VideoGame Show - What I've Done" series last?
