After a brief hiatus, we open our doors for business once more. Destructoid's Euro-flavored podcast, The Podcastle, is back to entertain you with foul-mouthed shenanigans and a shared hatred for people that are not us.We shall be recording tomorrow at 6pm GMT and you will LOVE it.
Myself, Wardrox and Atheistium will be discussing a smattering of European news, as well as E3, probably, although frankly I'm sick of talking about that annual false idol that we seem to think is important yet always end up surprised when it turns out to be a worthless waste of time and money. This podcast is great. Jim sterling is a comedic genius, wardrox is bland and atheistium sounds like she can take a D good.
Can Lauren indeed take a "D" good? Could Wardrox take one better, albeit more blandly? The world needs to know. Personally I stopped reading after "Jim Sterling is a comedic genius." I don't care about much more than that.

What can we expect from our European E3 (I guess that's Leipzig)? More, the same or less? Or is it different, and if so: why? Can E3 learn from the format?
If Jim takes all of his Pounds money to the U.S., how much of a royal monarch will he be and how many castles must crash?
Two extra per each recording, dammit.
Is it more likely that E3 goes back to the way it was a couple years ago, or that this year was its last year?

And for a question: The big news that set the internet aflame is that Final Fantasy VII will not be coming out for the N64, but the Playstaion instead. After this shocking betrayal by Square, would you agree that Nintendo is finished and should drop out of the console business?
My question is did any of you attend EVO’s (the largest Fighting Game tournament) Battle of Destiny event in London? Apparently they had Street Fighter 4 and the HD Remix playable at the event.
Also what are your thoughts on competitive gaming in general?

1.) What do you think the big announcement from Square-enix regarding Sony and the PS3 will be at their special event later in the year? Since after FF-13 on the 360 they said that they'd be throwing the ball back into Sony's court do you think there's any reason to think they aren't blowing smoke up out arses? or is the time for an official FF-7 remake finally upon us?!!!
2.) Are you happy that Chrono Trigger is being ported to the DS instead of being remade like FF-3 and 4? Also are you happy that the game is (hopefully) finally going to be available in Europe or do you not give a shit since it's an outdated and over hyped turd with sugar and hundreds and thousands sprinkled on it by uber cool retro gamers?
3.) Wiimotion plus - giving us the wii controls that Nintendo promised us from the beginning. Will the waggle be phased out in favor of real motion controls? Also will the wiimotion plus enhance the controls for older games because drawing in Okami is driving me batshit crazy.
