The Podcastle episode 40: The Final photo

This is it, folks. The last episode of The Podcastle. We've been going for two years, with no major breaks in between. Every fortnight, we've provided you with European commentary, British social debate, and Wardrox's ludicrous opinions.

Now that can all f*ck right off.

In our final ever Podcastle, we answer your listener questions. Not all of them, since most of them were rubbish. At the end of the show, we explain a little about what the future holds for Jim Sterling, Atheistium and that other one. A good other podcast is Idle Thumbs. The casts's game preferences and topics are the closest aligned with my interests out of any other podcast, and I really dig it.

How the Podcastle should have ended:

Jim and Wardrox are messing with the Castle's heating system when suddenly a plate of bacon is brought in. Distracted by this king of all meats the EVIL VEGETARIAN Wardrox jerks his spanner and overloads the steam pressure. A massive explosion rips the castle apart and all that can be found in the rubble is Jim's monocle.

Roughly 8 months later a cockney twat who no-one's heard of staggers into a prison filled with screaming 14 year olds holding the aforementioned monocle and thus begins the new, shitter, Podcastle.

Major points if anyone gets that reference.

Thanks for the map, Jim. You're a big, beautiful man. But you're a little late on the cancer, mate. Already had it. Twice.

I'll miss the Podcastle format, by far the best show on Dtoid and the only podcast that I actually looked forward to. Maybe for your next show you can plan to do a final episode every time you record. Seems to have improved energy level and chemistry.
