The Podcastle episode 23 records tomorrow: Goodbye, England's Rose photo

We do not usually record an episode of The Podcastle until two weeks after the last, but on this occasion, we are making an exception and bringing you an early edition of the show. The reason for this is something that many of you will already know by now, if you caught one of the earlier announcements.

After months of questions, waiting, and "zomg what's gonna happen to The Podcastle when you move?", I am finally departing England for the United States of America. At the end of the week, in fact. To celebrate, and mark the occasion in a most fitting way, we will be recording my final Podcastle as a resident of the United Kingdom tomorrow. Join myself, Atheistium and Wardrox for our "Get the Hell out of our country" bash. 

The show will be 100% listener questions/comments, so be sure to post with your queries regarding anything and everything. We will attempt to read all five of them, but we can't make any promises. Fire away, my children.

Does the current financial situation in North America bother you in regards to your move? Or the health care system(I hope whomever is employing you is helping you with that)? Or perhaps leaving behind the bland food from England to eat the overly salty gobs of melted cheese in the states? hahaha

What do you think of the socio-economic situation in the United States? Is it jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire? But more importantly, who shall fire spunk into Lauren's face now? Will the mail carriers become a sort of middle-man for that?

Why can't you do more in the States? I mean you'll keep your accent and there is the internet still so it can't be the last EVER EVER can it?

Anyway questions:
1:What words will you miss using that make you sound like a prick in Yankieland?

2:Are you not bringing any games or consoles over and does that make you mad if your not?

3:Despite all the games comming out these weeks are you still playing the Left 4 Dead demo more than any other?

since I'm assuming all of these questions will be directed towards Jim, I have one each for Atheistium and Wardrox.

Atheistium, as someone that is currently working in clothing retail and given the chance to work in game retail, is the jump worth it? Has working at one affected your gaming tastes/self in any way and are the customers as annoying/stupid as the ones shopping for clothes.

And Wardrox, as a student with coloured hair myself, I was wondering if you bleach/dye your hair every time you get your hair cut. How long/often does your yellow mohawk stay yellow. Personally, I've gotten to the point where my green spikey hair stays green for a couple of months, then black for the rest of the year.

What is the first thing you plan on doing when you get here? I imagine it's something along the lines of shouting about "beeeg American Teetees!" but might I suggest something that takes full advantage of the new country and set of customs...perhaps eating fries with your fingers and shooting a gun at extra unnecessary vowels while driving on the right side of the road.

Will the podcastle ever be a weekly podcast? If not, what about releasing an unedited version between podcasts for those of us who need our fix? I know theres been a couple of times when the podcast gets so derailed that bits are actually cut out. I imagine those bits are quite funny.

I would just like to say thank you for helping me through my recent few hours of homelessness. I got locked out my house without a key and no way to get in until my parents returned from where ever the hell they were (yes I still live with my parents at 19, I fail). So essentially I had no option but to wander aimlessly around town listening to past episodes of the podcastle and trying not to die of hypothermia. I didn't actually do any begging but judging by the way I look, it wouldn't have been that out of the ordinary. Thanks for making it a tad more bareable guys.
