The Podcastle episode 21: Does Sonic get blisters? photo

You might not want to learn the context in which today's headline was said. I'm not sure if the quote is included in the show because I'm in a hurry and it's still downloading, but either way ... it's nasty.

We had much to discuss on this episode of The Podcastle, and I'm going to pretend that's the reason why it was so late. It had nothing to do with us sitting around our houses and wanking for the past few days. I guarantee it.

Anyway, this week we talk about what a hardship it is for Lauren to get free videogames, the awfulness that was Tokyo and the REAL reason why Sony recalled LittleBigPlanet. You won't want to miss this episode ... unless you're one of the many people who hate us. Then it might not be recommended so much.

As always, you can download or stream the show from our official Podcastle page, or hit us up on iTunes.

After a build-up like that, there better be at least one jaw-droppingly outrageous piece of filth in here or i will be most dissatisfied

And I'm like “back off, man,” and then I knife it in the face.

I'd like to second the motion that Christmas sucks. Waste of bloody time, money and energy.

So wardrox,
in accordance to the Crate Review System, what's the StC-score of Sonic Chronicles?
It matters.

Thanks for answering my question and sorry, I thought you wanted comments on the LBP fiasco too.

Also, The Eurogamer Expo was great Lauren! I played some great stuff. I mean, Killzone 2 can't be bad. And you are cool too, thanks for the shout out.

I meant to me4ntion this beforehand, but thanks for the heads-up abot the various gaming events in London. I went to the "exhibition" at BAFTA and, although there were only about 5 pieces of art on the walls - the fact that there was FREE BEER more than made up for it. After persuing the artwork of Mario, Tomb Raider, Spore and Fable, I proceeded to imbibe several FREE BEERS from the bar. Good work, Dtoid!

First off it's 'Brap'. It derives from a particular unpleasant aspect of both the UK Hip-Hop and Jungle scene whereby people would demonstrate their approval of a DJ's selection by firing guns into the air. Anecdotes from the end days of the Hacienda in manchester spoke of the rise of Jungle nights and how customers would feel rain coming through the ceiling due to holes from gunshots.

Currently 'Brap' is used as a general term of approval in imitation of the above mentioned practice.
