Pip pip, tally ho! The Podcastle crew returns with yet another trip into the diseased bowels of European gaming, discussing the latest news and sharing with you tales of their many adventures. This week the usual team of Jim Sterling, Wardrox and Atheistium are joined by community guest Ugly Phil. We had to cut much of him out though because his recording was sh*t. Boo!

Also Wardox, you shouldn't be upset about spoilers, remember, being a Euro gamer, one of the great things (from the podcast) is having all storylines and twists ruined for you, so you can concentrate solely on the gameplay that makes the game good in the first place.
Or tried to talk, anyway.
And honestly, I'm kinda glad that most of my stuff was cut. Hopefully it was the embarrassing stuff, not the fleeting glimmers of wit I happened to pass.
Regarding the rampant profanity in Alone In The Dark, it's not a new problem. Lazy scriptwriters have been using expletives forever as an easy out. Why bother to have a character express his emotions in an eloquent fashion when he can just scream "FUCK!"
Glad the Rock Band hatred isn't only kept to myself after listening. Obviously the net has spoken out about it before, but I was fully expecting the mother-effect of Wii Fit to overtake sense, where parents would go in and shell out £160 for their stupid kids when they could buy a real starter guitar for that price.
It came out the day we arrived in London, so the HMVs and Zavvis in London where just covered in promotional materials for it. Absolutely whoring the thing out. But funnily enough, we walked either in or around those shops more than ten times on our travels, and not once was one person within a five metre radius of the game. Thank god the mass market is finally seeing sense! Besides, at the Expo, did you see the stands with the import Beatmania and drum games? They had one that played far better international and Japanese groups, and I asked how much it would be on eBay. "Thirty quid, probably", the lady replied.
Fucking EA man.
