Ummm, every article I read about this states it was settled to undetermined terms...."undetermined terms" means No Doubt made some bank on the settlement. It was more than an apology.

This just in: washed-up band that hasn't produced anything remotely interesting since 1995 realize that they got all the attention they could possibly generate from tangling with Activision over a trivial matter and drop their lawsuit. The band's vocalist, the 43 year-old fish-dog responsible for the "Hollaback Girl" atrocity, could not be reached for comment.

i really wish they would do a GWAR hero. start off as a young kid in high school doing battle of the bands etc. doing GWAR covers. then you graduate and go on the road with your new band. a GWAR tribute band with your own characters. playing random bars to make money to either travel or get new instruments (which have benefits)and make your own GWAR character by buying clothing and different outfit pieces, like giant penises and horns and muscles and AIDS etc. then they choose you to play with them on tour.

@Watts I'm not even joking when I say that they are one of the worst bands I have ever heard in my entire life. I'm also not joking when I say that its ok to like them but I totally will always make fun of them forever because I'd rather listen to my grandmother's wet death rattle than a single song of theirs.
