I play. It's easy to use but you have to grind or pay up to get decent tanks around tier 4 through 6. Oh also American Heavy tanks suck.

You haven't played the game in a while. The American Heavy line is pretty great with the exception of the early tiers.
The T29 is the most powerful Tier 7 vehicle and the T110E5 is the most powerful end game heavy tank of any tree.
Even their weaker options, the M103 and M6 at least have powerful guns.
