This game is like a shooter for Harry Potter ... nothing like the old "explore around the castle" gameplay I used to love. I'm not a HUGE fan of harry potter, but I know this game was a flop.
No game, Harry Potter or else can beat the awesomeness that was Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (and if it wasn't awesome shut up, I want my childhood memories intact)

Amen. The technical limitations of the PS1 made for some isolated, pretty creepy platforming magic levels.
But again, might be nostalgia. I remember some pretty funny corny dialogue.

@Materballs and josmeister I remember in my young years running down the hall being chased by the troll. I remember the shock of hearing Professor Quirrel saying "damn" in an E rated game... Simpler days.
I’d love to see someone like Tim Shafer and Double Fine make a Harry Potter game once the movies are gone and there’s no release to tie it into. I feel like they’d get the humour and be able to bring out the charm of that world in a game.
