Also, wow that Journey thing almost passed through my radar until I read this. Either I'm reading less lately or I've just been forgetful.
Journey I can't play since Sony Refuse to sell PSN titles in my region, the others or don't interest me or I will play on PC.
Marvel vs capcom 3 is a certainty and Mortal Kombat looks good. I'm not a MK fan since the begining but now, seems more like a real fight game.

Last Guardian
Journey (this list reminded me about Journey, hope it's as good as it looks)
Anyways I want a pc list :p.
@phantom: sad part is only like two of those "ps3 exclusive" games will hold my attention more than 5 minutes. twisted Metal, and I think the last guardian has me interested.
Uncharted 3: hell I haven't even beat the first one yet and I have had it since black Friday. Hell my friend just came over and beat it within 5-7 hours.
Killzone 3: Beat it, but I'm not interested in console FPS's, I'll get it for $20 for the story and nothing more (cause really that's all it story amounts to).
Infamous 2: I'll be holding out on this one, the first one's story has got to be the best story the ps3 has to offer so far. Now if only Sucker Punch can code better than I five year old and make the combat system less spam, then we have something.
MotorStorm: I don't care for racing games much.
I want F.E.A.R 3 on the pc list :P.
Fuck, man, this is a videogame blog, not the be-all, end-all (bell-end?) resource for every videogame ever made; that's what Google is for.
Destructoid doesn't discuss the maximum resolutions for PC games, so why would you expect them to for console games?
Anyway, I'm looking forward to Dead Space 2, The Team Ico Collection, Dead Space 2, Sorcery, and Dead Space 2.
I am asking why that is. Why does it involve a research project for a game resolution? Why is it routinely omitted? The video, in "video game"?
@mrandydixon - What I expect and what I prefer are two different things. If you can direct me to a game community that lists games and their native resolution I'll use it. As far as PC titles are concerned a usable max resolution depends upon variations in peripheral components. That is why I don't expect it for variant builds which are all dumped into a catch all, "PC".
Your assumption that a game is "better" because it's running in 1080p -- because that means that the developer spent more time on the game, which gives the player more "value" for their dollar -- is faulty, as far as I'm concerned. I'd rather have a rock-solid frame rate (and a higher one) if it means that the game will run at 720p instead of 1080p. That's not just because I don't have a 1080p-capable TV; it's because the boost in resolution isn't worth sacrificing the frame rate. Having a game run in 1080p also forces you to sacrifice graphical detail, because higher-resolution textures require more memory, so you can't include as much texture detail as you'd be able to include at a lower resolution.
In conclusion, I'm not willing to have games that look and run worse just so they can run in 1080p. And to answer your original question, the only game on the list above that might run in 1080p is Journey, because it's a PSN game. If you really want resolution information, I suggest you check out a website that caters to graphics fanatics, like Lens of Truth or Eurogamer's Digital Foundry.
That was an excellent and appreciated response.
I would only take issue with quotations around "better".
On a list called 'Most wanted Games for PS3' I filter out games that are not 1080p. I buy 1080p first. Specifically because of the assumptions you say are faulty. You prefer rock solid frame rate. Since you primarily play sports games where millisecond reaction times are an issue, are you willing to concede
that your focus is specialized to your niche requirements?
Your argument about memory as a hardware limitation to graphical detail is puzzling since you have already more than 50% percent less detail in a drop from 1080p to 720p. At times 1080p is @ 4x the kbps of full 720p. Irrelevant to someone who does not own the TV first.
Quality, man hours, technology investment and R&D are a fact which effect margins. Gamers want it. Manufacturers do not. I think so because sometimes they are caught admitting it to privileged audiences.

I think destructiod should make it a point to ask during their interviews of producers of console games, "is it native 1080p?" It is this generation, and I don't want to have to wait until 2013's new console generation to play them regularly.
Again, I thank you for taking the time.

Why Does Every Ps3 Fanboy Have a Assassins Creed Avatar....I mean Look Down The List and you Will see that I mean.
Anyway it's all a matter of opinion really you say tomato I say tamato everyone should just be happy and appreciate what they have cause there are some who have none. :~(
I find it strange that native resolution affects your purchasing decisions. I guess I don't see much of a noticeable difference from 720p to 1080p. I couldn't even tell you offhand which of my games are 1080p and of those I certainly couldn't tell you which ones are native. According to the package GTA IV is 1080p (upscaled I'm sure?) and Red Dead Redemption is 720p and if you asked me which one I thought was more graphically impressive I would probably go with RDR. Shrug.
