@thisissami: I think that was well articulated and not fanboy-esque in the slightest. I wish I played my PS3 (or blu-ray/uncharted player as I think of it) more often than the 360 simply because a lot of the peripheral aspects of the system irk me. I just can't get past the controller. If there was someone out there who makes third party controllers for the PS3 that blatantly rip off the XBox design I'd buy all my multi-platforms for the Sony console rather than the other way around.

Killzone 3 is the only decent looking game there imo and it's not even that decent just in comparison to the other PS3 games...

I'm with you on that Killzone 3 hype. Killzone 2 was way better than I thought it would be. One of the few FPS games that I've completed multiple times, and that multiplayer... well, lets just say I still play it.

Infamous 2: I'll be holding out on this one, the first one's story has got to be the best story the ps3 has to offer so far. Now if only Sucker Punch can code better than I five year old and make the combat system less spam, then we have something.

Aaaand nobody remembers Disgaea 4 is coming out and looks kind of awesome since they're finally doing new graphics for reals this time.
Whether or not the list is about exclusives, you can't deny the fact that there are a ton more here than on the 360 list. I just find it interesting.

i personally think the only reason i would turn on my ps3 instead of my 360 or gaming pc is to play uncharted. uncharted 1 and 2 are the most awesome games ive played. so im VERY happy for Uncharted 3.

In conclusion, I'm not willing to have games that look and run worse just so they can run in 1080p. @readbigword: There is no point in asking, there are only about 26 ps3 games in existence that can play in native 1080p. The rest of the ps3 library is 720p upscaled at best. I really don't see why ps3 fanboys get hard ones over a mere one lvl higher tv resolution. We should all know by now that no more AAA titles (except maybe LBP2) will support 1080p, the ps3 hardware has been outdated for years now.
It will be the last guardian that makes me finally cave in and get a PS3 I have always loved Team Ico games and this one will not disappoint. Will it be sad....yes * cries* .

On the PS3 I'm looking for Mass Effect 2 (loved the demo, improvements all around from the first), LittleBigPlanet 2 (doesn't seem to improve much besides the creation tools, still a bit too physics based, but still looks very fun), Dead Space 2 (very curious about the multiplayer, and I like how the game seems a bit more fast) and Catherine, Journey, The Last Guardian and inFAMOUS 2, but I still need more info on those.

I find it strange that native resolution affects your purchasing decisions. I guess I don't see much of a noticeable difference from 720p to 1080p. I couldn't even tell you offhand which of my games are 1080p and of those I certainly couldn't tell you which ones are native. According to the package GTA IV is 1080p (upscaled I'm sure?) and Red Dead Redemption is 720p and if you asked me which one I thought was more graphically impressive I would probably go with RDR. Shrug.
