Early last month we told you about the upcoming Japanese Nintendo DS title called Otona No Ds Kao Training (Face Training), that teaches users the art of 'facening'. This exercise is intended for females, and is supposed to keep skin elasticised, healthy, and beautiful. The only catch is that users' faces will look absolutely stupid while playing.
Face Training comes with a stand for hands-free gaming as well as camera that plugs into the Game Boy Advance slot of the DS. This camera allows the player to see their own face alongside the example face on the other screen.
If somehow you cannot imagine how this crazy contraption would work, then maybe this video introduction (above) will help. The video shows female users making silly faces at their DS Lite, somehow managing to look serious and professional the whole time. The software gives instructions and shows an example face that the user is supposed to match, and it all seems harmless enough until one example where the model has to increase her smile size on each count, up to five. The resulting face is so ridiculous that you have to wonder what was going through her head at the time.
Oh God, I hope this doesn't get posted on Destructoid.
