I'm in the same boat. To me, it seems like a clone of Bad Company 2 with fewer vehicles, an uglier HUD, and faster action. It just hasn't really appealed to me yet...I guess I'm just in the boat of waiting for the Vietnam DLC instead.
LOL what exactly is realistic in this crap? A rail shooter with no recoil and limited variability. BC2 is still way better than this crap (even with it's mayor flaws).
What are BC's "mayor" flaws? And I'm talking multiplayer here, the single player doesn't mean much to me.
Do you even know what a rail shooter is?
I'll be skipping this more for the fact it looks like another BC2. I love BC2, but I don't wanna pay for another one.
Just hope it's more about the shooting than the perks and killstreaks. Because that's where cod's problems are in my book.
i just want the MOH single player.
@ward - ?
@valentyjj - Operation flashpoint/Arma/arma 2
@Disemvowel - Agree more like the real battlefields and less like bad company
@pascuz46 - because the other people in the beta were the kind of people who love this game type and are fucking good at it.
You're right. My bad, i've mistaken the word for what i meant :( Guess you did realize what did i refer to, if not, then it's the gun handling/animation/recoil.
Sorry again.
Is there aim assist in this game? A few times there seemed to be unrealistic (no better term) pinpoint accuracy.
I'm picking up Medal of Honor for the single player, at least giving it a rental or borrow. If it really hooks me in, I'll consider buying it.
Now that I think about it, despite there being 3 undeniably impressive FPSs coming out in the next few months (Reach, MoH, Black Ops), none of them really get my attention.
FWIW, I think this looks Fantastic. I've playing BFBC2 exclusively since it came out, God of War III, Red Dead Redemption, and MAG are all sitting on the shelf because I can't get enough BFBC2. So, a similar game based on the same engine with some new modes, etc, has me stoked.
