I saw this the other day but I wasn't that impressed. The character animations are robotic and cartoonish. I guess it was still able to convey more emotion than the actual Keanu Reeves.
Haha. They used the Deus Ex glasses, but didn't cast Jensen as Neo because it would have been too obvious...XD

^ I found that far more impressive. Even though the article video required a lot more body animating, I'd imagine the facial animations are a good deal more difficult and the facial animations here are very lacking in comparison.

That was pretty cool, but I do kinda have to agree with Scrustle, the animations are a bit stiff, especially the lip syncing. But it's cool none the less.
Super critical: not the great considering the only real good part was the direction. But considering that was directly copied from a professional movie...
Freaking awesome! This shortly after the thing's release and we get phenomenal animations. Just imagine what we'll see in a year!
In the short time since SFM released, we've already seen plenty of clever and impressive original short films made.

the biggest thing that bugs me about source filmmaker is that it doesnt seem like anyone is creating original content. I dont mean to sound too critical, as i havent even touched the tools myself. it just seems kind of pointless to see nothing but videos of existing content in the source engine.

@afkraiding It hasn't been out too long, and the easiest way to learn the program is to work on recreating something that has already been done, I am sure there are a lot of people out there that are working on OC but it takes some time not having to voice and script your own stuff makes it easier to get used to it.
