I love how these "making of" videos aren't really insightful or helpful. As one of our readers pointed out, this is what happens when the marketing department gets their hand on the idea of a developer diary. Still, it's flashy and has all sorts of dramatic camera angles, so there's that.
I've been playing Killzone 2 for a multitude of hours recently, and have to say that I am most certainly impressed. The controls take some getting used to, especially the gimmicky Sixaxis nonsense, but otherwise this is as intense and indulgent a first-person shooter as you're likely to get. Our full review is coming soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that.

Do the cars handle well? Also how is the racetrack variety? I'm worried that all the routes will look the same. Would you recommend playing this with a wheel or does it play fine with the sixaxis? Can't wait for the best racing game ever, Killzone 2.
As far as I've seen, I like how they used sixaxis (sniper - superb idea, turning wheels - nice immersion). I for one, am bummed that they are removing sixaxis from uncharted 2, I wondered why they didn't use it in lever turning moments..
i really liked the gimmicky inclusion of the sixaxis in the loadscreens.
but turning wheels with it was quite a chore (it wasnt in the demo, but i had a chance to play it at the last games convention)
anyway, at first i was a bit sceptic about the game, but by now im really looking forward to play it later this week (i hope) until then i still have noby noby boy
Well, I look forward to your review Jim. Just make sure you play every last bit of it, apparently you have some troll/stalkers who masturbate into socks as they constantly check your trophy status. Remember, they're watching you.
i can vouch that jim has played almost all of it. but i don't really care if he did or didn't beat it, it isn't a halo rts. its mother fuckeng killzone2. this is a long fuck week. the kind of week the world might end and you don't know it will until two days before, then it goes really fast.
Picked this up last night on a random shopping trip.
Up to the third act in single player. And i'll be giving the multiplayer a good thrashing at the weekend. Pretty impressed so far, certainly not worth the hype train but in the same breath, best shooter i've played in a while.
My buddy sent me an extra demo code last night to use until Amazon sends me the game via snail mail. (I'm too cheap to pay for shipping LOL) Can't wait.

Seriously, less than 48 hours until I get my hands on the multiplayer, yes! :)
This game should move some more PS3s though...

Jim: Looking forward to the review sir.
Can't wait to read/watch your review and pick up my copy Friday morning, but which will come first?
Indeed it has. Friday couldn't come any slower...
Sadness.
