If you've remained on the fence regarding a purchase of LEGO Batman, Warner Brothers has released yet another trailer for the block-busting (hur, hur) game to entice you. In the above video, you'll see some of the goofier moments in the game's many cutscenes. I laughed out loud at the Clayface bit in the end.

I'm not so sure how well this trailer might be received. Batman fans can be a fickle lot and the video might give turn off folks who prefer the Miller approach, as you could draw some comparisons to the Adam West/Burt Ward 60's series. Then again, if you were expecting anything else from the Traveller's Tales LEGO series, you deserve to be disappointed.

Look forward to a Destructoid review next week.

Yeah, that's about the mood I was expecting from the game.

I'm not sure it's gonna be worth it to people who have already played the other Lego games. I mean, is it still just going to be walking around building things and never dying? What's going to set this apart from the other Lego games?

I agree with Dexter. They need to do more things to set the Lego games apart from one another. Other wise it's just some new environments with different skins on the characters, but the same core gameplay. I will probably be waiting for a price drop, unless I hear awesome, awesome things. The game *looks* great, though. I love the Lego renditions of popular characters.

I'm almost embarassed to say how much I love this game...a lot. Definitely the best LEGO game yet, and although all the problems from the past installments are still here, I just find it so damn irresistable. At the very least it makes LEGO Indiana Jones look like total crap.

In my eyes, it goes Lego Star Wars >> Lego Batman >>> Lego Indiana Jones.
The only difference is i'm now considering buying Lego Batman at some point!
(Had to chuckle at Clayface; nice to see that Travellers Tales give jobs to the... disadvantaged)
