Described by Xbox World as being "significantly bigger than any episode of the original game," Alan Wake's American Nightmare will have a hub structure to its locales. Fans of Wake have, apparently, taken his disappearance and supposed return to mean that he is the killer Mr. Scratch.
Given my love of Candyman, I can dig it. American Nightmare is said to fill in the story gap for Alice and Barry, and introduce powerful weapons -- rifles, a nailgun, and a crossbow, to name a few. Since enemy tactics aren't the same as before, we'll probably need the extra firepower.
